William, known as Willy, was the son of Hitler's half-brother Alois Jr Hitler and his wife Bridget. The couple met in Dublin and later moved to Toxteth, Liverpool, where Willy was born.

After growing up, Willy left England for Germany, relying on his powerful uncle for money and living a life of debauchery after Hitler found him a job.

However, he and Hitler later suddenly broke off relations and Willy joined the fight against the Nazis.

Willy, who died 30 years ago, lived in Upper Stanhope Street, which was later destroyed by an air raid. His father was a card boy at the Lyons Cafe, which was founded by a Jewish businessman.

Unemployed throughout the 1930s, Willy contacts his uncle, who has just successfully seized power and turned Germany into a racist dictatorship.

Hitler agreed to help Willy and found him a stable, well-paid job at the Reichskreditbank in Berlin.

However, Willy did not like this job and asked Hitler to let him work at the Opel car factory as a car salesman. In the documentary "Hitler's Surviving Relatives", Willy was described as a famous playboy while living in Germany, using his family's name to make a lot of money.

Disgusted with his nephew's lifestyle, Hitler called Willy a "spoiled nephew" and began criticizing him in public, saying, "I did not become Prime Minister to benefit my family. No one is allowed to climb on my back."

But Willy continued to use his powerful uncle to make money and then returned to England. When World War II was about to break out in Europe, Hitler asked his nephew to give up his British citizenship in exchange for a stable, high-paying job in Nazi Germany, but Willy refused.

In a final attempt to capitalize on his uncle's fame, Willy threatens to reveal to the press that Hitler's grandfather was actually Jewish, but this is a fabrication.

When relations with Hitler were completely severed, Willy even wrote an article for Look magazine in London titled "I Hate My Uncle".

Willy then went to America and was stuck there because of the outbreak of World War II. Willy tried to join the army but was not accepted.

In 1944, he tried again to join the US Navy after sending a special request to President Franklin Roosevelt. Later, Willy was wounded in a campaign and awarded the Purple Heart.

After leaving the army in 1947, Willy changed his name to Stuart Houston and married Phyllis Jean-Jacques. The couple later settled in Long Island, New York, and are believed to have had four children. Willy died on July 14, 1987. Willy's family still lives in the United States but has never publicly mentioned Hitler.
