Mr. Dau Du's secret revolutionary life began in 1928, from the Revolutionary Youth Association until this branch became the Indochina Communist Party Branch in Dien Chau and later the Van Phan Party Branch.

He was assigned by the Party organization to work in many places, from Dien Chau to Do Luong, including having to compete for the position of Bang Ta Tong Ly Trai of Dien Chau district to protect revolutionary cadres. The French secret police recorded in his monitoring file that the C2 communists were very dangerous.

Due to many reasons, it was not until 2009 that records of the staunch communist Dau Du were found, and it also took many years to verify and recognize.
