British people change travel habits because of rising fuel prices
More than 1 million Britons have switched to bus travel since March, while cycling rates have doubled the usual average.
It is a sign that British consumers are looking for alternatives to driving as fuel prices rise sharply in the country.
According to preliminary data, both bus and bicycle use have increased sharply since March, when fuel prices began to rise after the conflict in Ukraine broke out in February.

According to watchdog Transport Focus, the proportion of people taking the bus at least once a week rose from 12% in the first week of March to 15% in the last week of May.
