People caught a giant cobra more than 2m long
A snake as big as an adult's wrist, weighing 2.6 kg, was caught by a man in Tuyen Quang and sold to a trader for 1.2 million VND.
A video clip has been circulating on social media showing a man in Phuc Ung commune (Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang) holding a cobra on his lap with his bare hands. The snake was as big as an adult’s wrist, weighed 2.6 kg, and was over 2 m long.

Mr. Vu Hai said: "This snake is a non-venomous cobra. My cousin caught it two weeks ago and sold it to a trader for 1.2 million VND. A few days ago, he also caught a 6 kg cobra and sold it for 6 million VND."
Catching a cobra longer than 1 meter near an apartment building
The security team on duty on May 1st caught a cobra measuring more than 1 meter long and weighing about 1 kg in the apartment building area.
