On the morning of September 6, Nghe An Newspaper reporters were present at Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu) to record information about the search for 6 missing sailors in the sea of Quang Binh. In the families whose relatives were in the accident, the atmosphere was heavy.
For nearly a day, although the authorities have been trying to search, the Quang Binh sea area has had big waves and strong winds, making it difficult for vehicles to get to the location of the ship in distress. Relatives of the crew are almost desperate.

Luck came to the families of the crew members when at 9:30 am on September 6, the rescue force of Quang Binh province announced that they had discovered and saved 4/6 crew members including: Le Van Chien, Pham Van Hoang, Tran Van Cuong and Ngo Van Xo. Hearing this news, the families of the rescued crew members "burst" with joy, luck had come to them.
At the family of sailor Ngo Van Xo, at this moment the atmosphere of grief and anxiety has disappeared and is replaced by extreme joy as their loved one has survived after more than a day drifting at sea.
Mr. Ngo Van Thang (uncle of crew member Ngo Van Xo) shared: "We are so happy, guys! At 9am this morning, the family received news from Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station that 4 crew members were rescued, including Ngo Van Xo. Upon receiving the news, the family was overwhelmed with happiness, and relatives came to visit and comfort us. From now on, when going to sea, we must tell the children to be careful to avoid storms, and only go out to sea when the weather is calm."
As for the family of Mrs. Han Thi Ly (mother of crew member Le Van Chien), when she heard that her son was rescued by a fishing boat from Quang Tri, she and her relatives did not sleep all afternoon, anxiously waiting for news of her son's return. Although they heard that their son escaped and was on his way to shore, in their joy they could not hide their worry about their son's health because he had been stuck at sea for a whole day.
I hope you will return safely. You have been hungry all day and immersed in the cold sea. It must be very tiring. Seeing you return and in stable health will make your family feel at ease!
Ms. Hoang Thi Hue - Secretary of the Party Cell of Village 8, Son Hai Commune said: "The 4 rescued fishermen are all young, between 16 and 26 years old, and none of them are married. However, the joy is not complete as the remaining 2 crew members on this ship are still missing."
