60-year-old man broke into 7 commune headquarters to steal property
The subject often wanders around on motorbikes and takes advantage of the dark to break into the People's Committees of communes in Hanoi to steal. After stealing property, the subject takes the evidence, reinstalls the software and then sells it.
On the afternoon of June 3, the police of Chuong My district, Hanoi announced that they had just arrested Do Van Thang (born in 1963) in Phung Xa commune, Thach That district, Hanoi, who had 6 previous convictions for theft of property in the headquarters of the People's Committees of communes in Hanoi.

Police determined that from April until his arrest, Thang had committed 7 burglaries at the People's Committee offices of communes. According to statistics, 3 incidents occurred in Chuong My district: in Dong Son commune on April 13, Dai Yen on April 21 and Hoang Dieu on May 6.
In Thanh Oai district, Hanoi, there were 2 cases of theft at Thanh Cao commune People's Committee on May 12 and Hong Duong commune on May 30. In My Duc district, there were 2 cases of theft at Phuc Lam commune on May 17 and My Thanh commune on May 28. The stolen property included tablets, laptops and a small amount of cash and documents.
At the police station, Thang confessed that he often wandered around the communes on his motorbike. He took advantage of the darkness to break in and steal.
After stealing the property, Thang brought the evidence to the GH computer store owned by Dao Van Tr. (born in 1989), in Chuong My district, Hanoi to repair and reinstall the software like new, then sold it.
The police have seized evidence including 1 Dell computer, 690,000 VND in cash, 2 mobile phones, 1 pair of slippers, 3 sets of clothes, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of gloves and 2 metal chisels... At the same time, the investigation is expanding the case.
