Man hired to chop corn dies under truck wheels
(Baonghean.vn) - While working as a hired corn cutter, Mr. Duong collided with a truck and died.
At 3:00 p.m. on May 23, Mr. Vo Sy Duong, born in 1974, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghia Binh Commune (Tan Ky) was taken by local people to the Nghia Binh Commune Health Station in a bloody state due to a traffic accident. After emergency treatment and examination, the health station doctor determined that Mr. Duong had died.
Previously, at 2:40 p.m. the same day, Mr. Duong drove a motorbike with license plate 37K1-7124 on Ho Chi Minh road through hamlet 1A (Nghia Hop commune, Tan Ky) and turned into the hamlet road to go chop corn for hire when he collided with a truck with license plate 37C-178.19 driven by Tran Van Hai, residing in hamlet 8, Nghia Dong commune.

The collision caused Mr. Duong to fall about 1 meter, unconscious on the spot, his motorbike stuck under the truck.
Hearing the loud noise, people nearby immediately took Mr. Duong to the emergency room at the medical station, but it was too late.
After the accident, Tan Ky District Police coordinated with Nghia Hop Commune Police to be present at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause.
