The leader of a polygamist sect in Canada says women come to him and ask to be his wife.

Winston Blackmore, 59, from British Columbia, Canada, currently has 27 wives and 145 children. According to Metro, he was arrested in 2007 for violating the monogamy regime. However, at that time, he bribed the prosecutor and was safe.

In 2014, he was again prosecuted by the government for the same crime, but it is not yet known when the trial will take place. The case is on hold while the Canadian government considers changes to marriage laws.
