Minh Khang - the pregnant "man" became a guest on the talk show "What do fathers say"... Finding his true self was already a very arduous journey, but deciding to have a child was a somewhat risky choice for Minh Khang.
“I want to become a boy because that is my true gender and it is my responsibility to find that gender again. The first reason I want to get pregnant is because I want a child, and the second is because I love my wife. Even if my wife were a real woman and had to undergo artificial insemination, I would still want to be the one to get pregnant.

Despite being pregnant, Minh Khang did not suffer from morning sickness and still participated in community activities, even going on business trips far away. |
There are many men who will say that other men's wives suffer a lot during childbirth and they take care of their wives, so why can't those men do it? If I can do it, I have to do it. I want to do everything I can do for my wife. Even doing laundry, sweeping the house, cooking, I do it all, as long as my wife likes it" - Minh Khang shared.
Before deciding to have a child, Minh Khang's parents opposed this decision and advised him and his wife to wait two to three more years because Khang had just stopped taking hormone injections for three months, and they were afraid it would affect their grandchild.
However, he still followed the doctor's advice that it was difficult to have children like normal people, if he still planned, he did not know when he would be able to have children. So, the couple just let things be natural, God gave them when they needed them.

The first princess was born by caesarean section and was completely healthy. The baby was named Dang Ngoc Thien An. |
Minh Khang said: After stopping hormone injections for 3 months, he started the gender reassignment surgery. After half a month of re-examination and testing, the doctor suddenly announced that he was two weeks pregnant. At this time, the worry came back, two weeks ago, the day of the surgery, all the anesthesia and antibiotics were still there. If I keep the baby and it is born with a defect, the baby will be at a disadvantage to others. If I abort it, I don't know when I will have another child."
After a period of testing at Tu Du Hospital, the results showed that the baby was normal and had no abnormalities.
Minh Khang revealed that the couple got pregnant completely naturally, without any medical intervention. He was still in stable health after giving birth, without morning sickness, anemia, or dizziness like other pregnant women.

Talking about the process of giving birth, he gave birth naturally and had to have the support of 15 doctors and nurses. Minh Khang humorously said: After giving birth, my milk did not come back. It had been a year since then, because I had surgery before, and no longer had mammary glands. When my child was born, I used formula milk.
“I have undergone many surgeries before, but I have never felt such pain as if my internal organs were falling out... From ancient times until now, our grandparents have a saying "Father gives birth, mother gives birth". In reality, people only see the mother and today I prove that saying can be more meaningful. I am a father who can give birth to a child normally" - Minh Khang confided.
