Man dies in ditch suspected of being drunk
(Baonghean.vn) - People discovered a dead man's body and a motorbike in an irrigation ditch.
The incident was discovered at 4:40 p.m. on November 21 on the inter-commune road of Quynh Hong and Quynh Hau in hamlet 6, Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district.
The victim was identified as Mr. Dang Van Trang (born in 1963), residing in Hamlet 6, Quynh Hong Commune, Quynh Luu District.
According to the victim's relatives, Mr. Trang had two children, but one had passed away. The other followed his mother to the South to work as a hired hand and rarely came home. Living alone was sad, so he often turned to alcohol.
Before the incident, people saw him staggering. Therefore, when the body was discovered, Quynh Luu district police sealed off the scene for an autopsy, but the family asked to take the body home for burial according to local customs.
