Man dies after being hit by mother's coffin
Samen Kondorura, 40 years old, Indonesian, died while carrying a coffin to the stilt house with many people, and the ladder collapsed.
The incident happened in the valleyParinding, districtNorth Toraja on the islandSulawesi of this country.
A group of people were carrying Samen's mother's coffin up to the stilt house - where the traditional funeral ceremony was held - when the ladder slipped out and collapsed to the ground. The coffin fell on Samen, according toberitaterheboh.

The accident occurred because the ladder was not properly secured, but the family declined to pursue legal action. Samen was later laid to rest next to his mother.
