Mountain town residents contribute 1.5 billion VND to build a temple to worship Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang

(Baonghean.vn) - Khe Sat Temple, at Block 3, Con Cuong townis a place established by local people toworship Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang.Thisis one of the most notable historical and cultural relicsof the Southwest region of Nghe An.

Vin the rainAugust 2013,The main hall of Khe Sat Temple was built with the support of the State and contributions from the people, the construction cost was 1.2 billion VND. However, other items have not been completed yet.

In May 2017, the State continued to invest 170 million VND, the People's Committee of Con Cuong town called on people to voluntarily contribute money and working days with a total cost of 1.5 billion VND to build an additional 5-room wooden worship house.

The worship house is more than 100m wide², is expected to be completed in October (lunar calendar) this year on the occasion of the death anniversary of Uy Minh Vuong Ly Nhat Quang, bringing the total cost of building the temple to 2.7 billion VND. Currently, the Khe Sat Temple Cultural Relic Management Board continues to mobilize people to contribute to soon renovate and complete the temple, meeting the wishes and spiritual needs of local people.
