People on Yen Island offer incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2016), on December 21 and 22, thousands of people visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

On December 21 and 22, leaders of Quang Binh province and many departments and agencies in the province offered incense to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap at the General's tomb in Vung Chua - Yen island, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

Along with the delegations of Quang Binh province, following the team protecting the General's tomb, many delegations of veterans and people from all over the country also came to Vung Chua - Yen Island to offer incense in memory of the General's contributions to the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
