Beauty drugged and robbed hundreds of millions of foreign guests
Invited by Mr. M. to drink beer, Uyen secretly put sleeping pills in Mr. M.'s beer glass, causing the victim to pass out, then robbed all of his property worth about 270 million VND.
On the afternoon of June 18, District 7 Police, Ho Chi Minh City, announced that they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Thi Tu Uyen (born in 1982, from Dong Nai, temporarily residing in District 7) to investigate the act of drugging and robbing property.
The victim was Mr. VJM (born in 1956, French nationality, temporarily residing in District 7).
Previously, on June 12, Mr. VJM went to Tan Hung Ward Police (District 7) to report that his new girlfriend he met online had drugged him and robbed him of many assets including 120 million VND in cash, 2 cameras, 1 expensive lens, 1 cell phone... with a total value of about 270 million VND.

According to Mr. M.’s statement, through social media, he met a woman who called herself Minh Anh. After talking for a while, around 11 p.m. on June 11, Minh Anh went to Mr. VJM’s house in the Him Lam residential area (Tan Hung ward, District 7) to hang out and drink beer. However, a while later, Mr. M. felt dizzy and passed out. On the morning of June 12, Mr. VJM woke up and was shocked to discover that all of his property had been lost.
Upon receiving the information, District 7 Police and other professional units quickly went to the scene to examine the scene and take witness statements for investigation.
However, because the victim did not know any information about his new girlfriend, the investigation and solving of the case encountered many difficulties.
By professional measures, by the evening of June 17, District 7 Police detectives identified the perpetrator as Nguyen Thi Tu Uyen and proceeded to arrest her.
