American beauty crowned Miss Transgender 2019, Nhat Ha in top 6

After more than 2 hours of competition, the final victory belonged to the American representative - Jazell Barbie Royale.

She also won the talent award for her singing ability. The new Miss International Queen was introduced as an entertainment star with good catwalk skills. In the top 6 question and answer session, she answered very confidently when asked about the theme of the contest.

Jazell emphasized equality in society, regardless of gender or skin color. She said: "Today I am here to prove equality and want to say that a person like me can also be a winner."

The first and second runner-up titles were awarded to the representatives of Thailand and China, respectively. On social media, many viewers protested the results, saying that the Thai representative was more beautiful and deserved to be crowned. However, there were also people who supported the American contestant, saying that she was talented and brave enough to represent the LGBT community.

Nhat Ha slipped out of the top 3, losing the chance to be crowned.

The top 6 continued to enter the behavioral round to choose the top 3. Nhat Ha tried her best, but she missed the top 3, losing the chance to win the crown.

The behavioral question Nhat Ha received was "What makes you confident that you are different from other contestants to win?". She chose to answer in Vietnamese and had an interpreter.

She replied: "I realize what I need and want from this contest. I am here to bring pride not only to myself, but also to the LGBT community in Vietnam. I want to spread positive inspiration to everyone, especially transgender people. I want transgender people around the world to have strong faith in life, so that we can develop further."

The three outstanding contestants chosen by the judges include representatives from Thailand, the US and China. The host contestant, Kanwara Kaewjin (22 years old), has a more outstanding beauty than the two competitors.

Nhat Ha is 1.75 m tall with measurements of 87-62-90.

Nhat Ha's presence in the top 6 is not too surprising, because compared to the general level of contestants, she is quite outstanding.

The top 12 entered the swimsuit round right after that. Nhat Ha still wore the blue cut-out swimsuit in the semi-finals. She walked the catwalk more confidently and restrainedly. As a result, Nhat Ha was in the top 6, along with representatives from Japan, Malaysia, China, the US and host Thailand.

The host contestant from Thailand had a confident evening gown performance and received the most enthusiastic cheers from the audience. She walked gracefully in a high-slit dress with a unique layered train, and was considered a strong candidate for the crown.

The Top 12 were announced after the evening gown competition, including representatives from Vietnam, Peru, Korea, Ecuador, Brazil, Malaysia, India, Japan, Thailand, China, the Philippines and the United States. Nhat Ha received the consolation prize for the contestant with the most impressive introduction video.

In the evening gown competition, Nhat Ha chose a halter-neck, nude pink dress with sparkling sequin details along the body of the dress. Compared to the blue dress in the semi-finals, this outfit was rated higher, but still somewhat cumbersome, not really ideal for flattering the figure.

The final night takes place at 8pm and will be broadcast on GMM25 Thailand as well as the official website of Miss International Queen at 10pm.

The Miss International Queen 2019 contestants made their opening appearance in their national costumes. Nhat Ha wore a bulky outfit inspired by a bingo troupe. After the contestants introduced themselves, the Nicaraguan representative was announced as the winner of this subsidiary award.

Record low number of candidates

This year’s Miss International Queen only had 21 contestants – a record low. Many contestants were criticized for still showing off their masculine features, expressed through their gait, performance style, and voice. Nhat Ha belongs to the group of contestants with soft faces and slim bodies.

After the semi-final night, contestant Do Nhat Ha of Vietnam was praised for her confident performance, beautiful body and face, but also caused quite a stir because of her costume and backstage issues.

Nhat Ha spoke up to reassure public opinion and thanked the organizers of The Tiffany Vietnam, Miss Huong Giang and the accompanying crew.

"Get ready for the big night tonight.Whatever the result, Ha will still try her best.Everyone, please support Ha," she shared on her personal page at 6 p.m. Nhat Ha also finished changing into her evening gown to prepare for the final night.

Before the final night, Nhat Ha had announced a nude evening gown by designer Anh Thu, but then she and her team changed their minds and chose a pink dress that she had worn before and received many compliments. Domestic fans also said that whether the dress was old or new was not important, as long as the contestant felt comfortable and confident.
