In episode 5 of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017", the organizers of the contest presented the fourth challenge of the program called "I am for the community". This is the theme that the organizers of the contest want the new beauty queen to be the one to take on the responsibility of inspiring and joining hands to help the disadvantaged in today's society.

With the theme “I am for the community”, the beauties were divided into small groups. Each group chose a community project, from which they set up a plan, mobilized capital contributions, and support from the community and benefactors.

The groups with the most votes from the audience and the most capital raised will move on to the next round of presenting their ideas to the expert panel. The beauties will demonstrate their ability to speak, debate, and convince the expert panel to prove that they are the most courageous and can strongly and positively inspire the community.

Ngoc Nu's group was group number 7. After going through challenges such as planning and raising capital, this group was voted with the highest score of 16,936 points and became 1 of 4 groups to enter the round of presenting ideas before the expert panel.

With the project "Extending the arms of kindness" with the idea of ​​assembling prosthetic arms and legs for disabled people in difficult circumstances, Ngoc Nu's group conquered the expert council with their sharp arguments and humane stories.

This group invited guest Ms. Vi Thao, a disabled person, to the stage to share about her life to convince the council of their idea.

Finally, the council excellently evaluated the feasibility of this project and announced that Ngoc Nu's group 7 (including 9 contestants) won the 4th challenge "I am for the community".
