German beauty surpasses 65 girls to be crowned Miss International 2022
Miss Jasmin Selberg, Germany, beat 65 beauties to win the Miss International 2022 crown on December 13 in Japan. Vietnamese representative Phuong Anh missed the top 15.

Miss Jasmin Selberg, Germany, was the winner and took the most prestigious crown. She said this was an unforgettable milestone and memory for her.
First runner-up was Stephany Amado - representative of Cabo Verde, second runner-up was beauty Tatiana Calmell of Peru, third runner-up title was Natalia López of Colombia and fourth runner-up was Celinee Santos from the Dominican Republic.
Runner-up Phuong Anh was not in the top 15, although she was highly rated by experts before the final round. The beauty site Missosology predicted that she would finish 7th overall, while other sites ranked her in the top 3 or even crowned. She is 1.77 m tall, with measurements of 82-61-90 cm. Runner-up Phuong Anh is fluent in two foreign languages with an IELTS score of 8.0 (English) and DALF C1 (French, equivalent to IELTS 8.0).

The titles of Miss Continent were awarded to beauties from New Zealand (Oceania), Cape Verde (Africa), Japan (Asia), Finland (Europe), and the United States (Americas). Nigina Fakhriddinova, a contestant from Uzbekistan, won the national costume award. Tatiana Calmell from Peru, won the evening gown award. Valeria Gutiérrez, representing Ecuador, was named Miss Photogenic. Evanjelin Elchmanar, from England, won the Miss Swimsuit award.
The 60th Miss International final took place in Tokyo, Japan with 66 beauties competing. The contest was scheduled to be held in 2020 but was postponed two years due to COVID-19.
Miss International is one of the six major beauty pageants in the world, first held in 1960 and held annually in Tokyo, Japan. This year's contest runs from November 30 to December 13.
