(Baonghean.vn) - Launched on January 1, 2016, after nearly 30 days of vibrant and colorful activities, the photo contest "Beautiful people in my hometown" organized by the Fanpage "Nghe An, my hometown" has officially ended. At the Closing Ceremony and Award Gala held on the evening of February 2 in Vinh City, many young people attended. The Organizing Committee also awarded First, Second, and Third prizes to the winning contestants.

Although it was only launched and organized in a short time, the Organizing Committee received nearly 300 photos from contestants from all over Nghe An. According to statistics, there were more than 5 million people visiting and following the page “Nghe An que choa”, more than 500 thousand interactions from the online community.

Nghe An is not only known as a land of talented people but also contains many cultural values, the soul of the land and people. With the desire to promote and introduce the beauty of Nghe An homeland, a group of young people who love technology and exploration organized a contest on the fanpage.

Based on the voting criteria of the online community, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to contestant Tran Bui Dieu Linh, born in 1997, from Tan Ky district with nearly 7,000 likes and 170 shares for the photo. The Second Prize went to Le Hong Hanh, born in 1989, from Nghia Tien commune, Thai Hoa with a photo that received 5,367 likes and 162 shares. The Third Prize went to Phan Thi Lam Oanh, born in 1996, from Nghia Dan with a total of 3,479 likes and 32 shares.
