Wushu beauty Duong Thuy Vi wins world gold medal
After her success at the SEA Games, beautiful female martial artist Duong Thuy Vi continues to bring glory to Vietnamese sports, with a gold medal in the martial arts event.
At the wushu world championship held in Kazan (Russia) from September 27 to October 3, athlete Duong Thuy Vi excellently won the gold medal in the women's spearmanship category with 9.64 points, 0.01 points more than athlete Hee ju-seo (Korea). The bronze medal winner in this category was Yamaguchi Keiko of Japan with 9.56 points.

This is not the first time Thuy Vi has won a world gold medal, but what is more noteworthy is that the athlete from Hanoi is 24 years old this year, showing that she is truly persistent and has stable performance.
At the recent 29th SEA Games, Thuy Vi was the first athlete of the Vietnamese sports delegation to win a gold medal, before completing the double gold in Malaysia.
According to the plan, after the world championship, Thuy Vi will continue to receive key investment towards defending her gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. At the 2014 Asian Games, Thuy Vi was the only athlete to win a gold medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation.
