Single people... have shorter lives than married people?

Many studies show that single people often have an average life expectancy 10-15 years lower than married people. I think young people who intend to stay single should think again.

Researchers found that single women have an average life expectancy of 7 to 15 years lower than married women. Single men have an average life expectancy of 8 to 17 years lower than married men.

Another experiment conducted by experts from the University of Louisville on 500 million people over 60 years also gave similar results. The results showed that single men had a 32% higher risk of death than married men. Single women had a 23% higher risk of death than married women. Especially in the age group of 30-39, the risk of death of single people was 128% higher than that of married people. For the age group of 70, this rate was 12%.

The reasons for this could be:

- Married couples are more likely to receive care, support, and reminders to maintain their health from their spouse, family, and society than single people.

- People with families have healthier, more moderate lifestyles.

- People with families are more conscious about their health.

- The sex life of married people is more comfortable and moderate.

- The psychological life of people with families is also more comfortable and happier than that of single people, especially those of middle age and older.
