“I come here for makeup therapy. I try different makeup looks. It makes me feel happy and younger,” said Teruko.

Each room at Orix is ​​decorated to the elders' liking, creating a homely feeling.

Like Mrs. Teruko, Mrs. Miyuki Hara has lived in Orix for 5 years. Mrs. Miyuki is married, but because they are both old and cannot take care of each other, her husband decided to send her to a nursing home. He still visits her in Orix 3 times a week.

“I feel like I did the best I could for my wife. I see that everyone living here is happy, the nurses always have a smile on their faces. I am glad that my wife is being well taken care of by the experts, she looks healthy and happy,” said Mr. Kazuo Hara, Mrs. Miyukia’s husband.

Orix Nursing Home has 68 single rooms and 8 double rooms. Each single room is decorated according to the preferences of each person, creating a sense of familiarity for the residents.

The cost of living in a high-end private nursing home like Orix is ​​not cheap, at around 430,000 yen/month (about 86 million VND). Even in more high-end nursing homes, the cost can be up to 150-200 million VND/month.

Specifically, at the Maihama Club luxury nursing home, the monthly cost of living here is 9,500 USD (about 216 million VND).
