The tallest Dutch person in the world

In addition, the habit of drinking a lot of milk is considered an important factor in improving the height of Dutch people. Statistics show that Dutch people spend one-sixth of their food expenses on dairy products. Their annual consumption of dairy products is 25% higher than that of British, American and German people.

However, it does not mean that the more milk you drink, the taller you will be. Ms. Ingrid Mol, Director of Research and Development, FrieslandCampina Group (Netherlands) noted: "In fact, height growth depends on many factors. Drinking milk is just a way to help children have enough nutrition to grow to their maximum height as determined by their genes."

According to Ms. Ingrid, children should drink 2-3 cups of fresh milk per day, equivalent to 400-600 ml. In addition to the goal of physical development, milk can improve the vitamin D deficiency caused by urbanization that many urban children face.
