Fans build a "yacht" to visit goalkeeper Tien Dung's house
About 50 people from Duong Hue village (Cam Thuy) played music about the U23 Vietnam victory all the way to visit the goalkeeper's house.
The atmosphere before the final match between U23 Vietnam and Uzbekistan is heating up in every family and every village across the country. People in Duong Hue village (Cam Phong commune) are so excited that they slaughter pigs and goats to treat the whole neighborhood to watch the final match.
On the afternoon of November 26, about 50 villagers "snaked" to goalkeeper Tien Dung's house, visited his family and wished the "hero" of his hometown the best of spirit and health for the match.

Mr. Tung, 35 years old, a local resident, said that the trip was prepared very spontaneously. That morning, several people in a hamlet suddenly came up with this idea. Then everyone divided up the work of printing banners, slogans, buying flags, buying shirts. One group brought the car out for repair. Another group prepared the speakers. Before 12 noon, the yacht-shaped car - surrounded by images of the U23 Vietnam team players looking extremely enthusiastic - was ready to go.
"This is an old car. We bought it back and used only the chassis, transforming it into a yacht, which was first used during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It can accommodate about 30 adults and children," said Mr. Tung.
At 2:00 pm, about 50 villagers turned on the music of the U23 Vietnam victory and set off on their trip. At first, everyone rushed onto the "yacht", slowing down the trip, then they split up and got into the dozen cars behind. At 5:30 am, the convoy arrived at Bao village, Phuc Thinh (Ngoc Lac), the hometown of goalkeeper Tien Dung. The distance was nearly 50 km.

The player's family was extremely surprised and touched by this special visit. "Dung's grandmother hugged us and cried emotionally. She even took a photo of him on her motorbike," added Mr. Tung.
Because the car's lights were broken and could not be fixed in time, the visit was quick, lasting only half an hour, so that they could return before dark. A painting of "eight horses" was sent to the family by football fans.

Mr. Thanh Hai, head of Duong Hue village, said that in recent years, movements in the village have been very high. The villagers are more excited than Tet for the final match this afternoon. Most households have stopped work to watch and discuss the match together. Instead of contributing, some families who can afford it cook a meal for the whole neighborhood.
Mr. Tung said that no matter the result of the match, it is worth celebrating and tonight the "yacht" will continue to take people on a parade around the village.
