Meanwhile, there are reports that some countries such as Egypt and Jordan are voicing their opposition to such a move.
In turn, Ewwas Eli, one of the leaders of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PDS), told Sputnik in an interview about the US plans to deploy military units in the north of Syria and east of the Euphrates River to replace the military contingents of many Arab countries.
"According to the information we have received, there is currently no official confirmation that within the framework of the development of foreign strategic policy in the region, the United States continues to plan to deploy troops from a number of Arab countries in northern Syria. The goal of the United States is to prevent increased pressure on itself in the region from Turkey, as well as to strengthen its Syrian policy by attracting a number of Arab countries to its side," Eli said.
