Vietnamese model crowned Mister International 2019
Model Trinh Bao followed Tien Doan to become Mr. International. The two runner-up titles were awarded to representatives from Venezuela and Hong Kong.
The 13th Mister International final took place in Manila, Philippines on the evening of February 24. After nearly three hours, the contestants competed in national costumes, traditional Philippine costumes, swimming, vests, and the question and answer round.
Model Trinh Bao (bronze winner of Vietnam Supermodel 2018) beat 38 other contestants to win the top prize. The first and second runner-up titles were awarded to representatives from Venezuela and Hong Kong, respectively.

Thus, after Tien Doan's achievement in 2008, Trinh Bao is the second Vietnamese model to win the Mister International contest. Before the final round, he was featured on the beauty magazineMissosologyhighly appreciated, always holding the top 5 position. His national costume inspired by the image of a dove carrying a message of peace is also in the top 10 impressive costumes.

Sharing after the victory, the model born in 1994, from Hai Phong, said: "I felt overwhelmed with happiness, I can't express it in words. Especially, when the contestants all threw up to congratulate me on my victory, I felt their love for me. I am proud that I have received such enthusiastic support and cheering from them."
Before joining the contests, Trinh Bao pursued a career as a freelance model and gym trainer with a height of 1.84 m.
Mister International is one of the male beauty pageants held annually.
In 2008, Tien Doan was the first Vietnamese contestant to win the highest title in this contest. In 2009, Vinh Thuy entered the top 15. In 2011, Vietnamese representative Le Khoi Nguyen won 3rd place. Last year, model Minh Trung also stopped in the top 5.
