Vietnamese model apologizes to competitors at Asia's Next Top

After being hated for her "sassy" attitude and overeating, Ngo Quynh Mai took the initiative to make peace to erase the conflict.

Before jumping on the spring mattress, she spent a few minutes warming up her arms and legs while other contestants skipped this warm-up step. The judges considered this a smart move. That helped Quynh Mai jump easily while posing. When seeing the Vietnamese representative perform well, the contestants who competed later all seemed discouraged and pressured.

The show's host - Thai supermodel Cindy Bishop - praised the Vietnamese contestant: "The photo is amazing. From the facial expression to the shape of Mai's arms and legs, everything is in harmony and beautiful." Two out of three judges gave Quynh Mai a score of 10 for this photo. Combined with the previous challenge score, she got a total score of 35.

Quynh Mai had the second best photo this week. The best photo belonged to contestant Angie (Singapore). Contestant Tugs (Mongolia) was eliminated after being criticized by the judges for posing like a squashed frog.

In the next episode airing on March 23, the contestants will face the challenge of changing their appearance. This is always one of the most exciting competitions for the audience.
