Mother set on fire by daughter while sleeping has died
After many days of treatment at the National Burn Hospital, Ms. TTH, the victim whose daughter poured gasoline on her bed while she was sleeping and then set it on fire, died in the early morning of May 11.
On the afternoon of May 11, Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tuan - Chief of Police of Kim Bang District, Ha Nam Province, said that Ms. TTH (born in 1952, residing in Thanh Son Commune, Kim Bang District), the victim whose daughter, Le Thi Thanh Loan (born in 1978), poured gasoline on the bed where she was sleeping and then set it on fire, died after many days of treatment at the National Burn Hospital.

Previously, at around 12:00 p.m. on May 1, at the home of Mr. LXL (born in 1950) and his wife, Ms. TTH (born in 1952), due to family conflicts, Le Thi Loan, the daughter of Mr. L. and Ms. H., poured gasoline on Ms. H., set her on fire, and then fled.
At 12:30 on May 2, the police arrested Le Thi Loan while she was hiding in Bac Son ward, Bim Son city, Thanh Hoa province.
During the struggle, Le Thi Loan confessed to all her crimes. The Investigation Police Department of Ha Nam Province Police issued an arrest warrant, urgently searched and temporarily detained Le Thi Loan for murder.
