Americans spend $23 billion on Mother's Day?
This year, US consumers are expected to spend $23.1 billion on Mother's Day.

Of this, the estimated spending on jewelry is $4.6 billion; $4.4 billion on food; $2.5 billion on gift cards; $2.1 billion on clothing; $2 billion on consumer electronics. In addition, the amount spent on greeting cards, books or music CDs also reached nearly $1 billion.
The survey also found an increase in online shopping on Mother’s Day, with 32.4% of respondents saying they would buy things online for their mothers. In addition, 29% would give sentimental gifts such as spa passes, gym memberships or art shows.
