Cases coveredmay get sickincluding medical staff or family members who directly care for patients, people who live with or visit patients, people with lung disease but the cause is unknown and cannot be tested.

These people are all subject to measures.medical isolation, even forced medical isolation, according to the new document of the Ministry of Health dated February 6 regarding payment of medical examination and treatment costs related to the nCoV epidemic.

If the group of people in quarantine have other diseases or are being treated for diseases and then have to be quarantined and have purchased health insurance, they will be paid according to regulations. In case the patient does not purchase insurance, they must pay for the treatment costs of diseases not related to the Corona virus.

In cases where people go to the doctor themselves but are not prescribed isolation, health insurance will still cover the costs according to regulations.

As of February 7, Vietnam had 13 cases of nCoV infection, of which 3 people had been cured. Currently, 90 people are in medical quarantine. Hundreds of people returning from China - where all 31 provinces and cities have the epidemic - have been taken to quarantine facilities near the border or in the provinces and cities. Those at risk of infection are required to quarantine at home.

The Ministry of Health today launched a mobile and tablet application, through which users can self-check their risk of infection, register with the nearest medical facility to receive appropriate advice and instructions on nCoV prevention and control.
