Woman stabs husband to death with scissors
Beaten for buying the wrong type of cigarettes, the woman stabbed her husband to death with scissors.
On April 12, Tien Giang police detained Ho Thi Diem (41 years old, in Cai Lay district) to investigate her behavior.Murder beyond the limits of legitimate defense.
On a late March evening, neighbors heard an argument coming from Diem's house so they went to investigate. They found Tran Van Nhin (42 years old, Diem's husband) sitting on the tiled floor, a wound on his back bleeding, and a pair of scissors lying on the tiled floor next to him.
Mr. Nhin was taken to the emergency room but died. Working with the police, the wife admitted that she was the murderer of her husband.
She confessed that her husband often beat her when he drank. That night, Diem was beaten because she bought the wrong type of cigarettes her husband asked for. During the fight, she grabbed a pair of scissors nearby and stabbed her husband to death.
