Having no money to bury his sister who died of a serious illness, a man in Phu Yen buried her body in the house.

On the afternoon of March 23, suspecting that a woman had been murdered and her body disposed of, Tuy Hoa City Police (Phu Yen) sealed off a house on Phan Dinh Phung Street to exhume the body.

The victim's body was buried in the house by her younger brother Trinh Tuan Anh. The 44-year-old man was led to the scene by the police and shown where his sister's body was buried.

Mr. Tuan Anh's sister worked at a kindergarten and had just quit her job due to a serious illness. This morning, the school teachers came to visit her but could not find her. After investigating the matter, they discovered that her younger brother had buried her body in the house and reported it to the police.

Working with the investigation agency, Mr. Tuan Anh said that his sister had been seriously ill and had passed away four days ago. Because his family was poor and had no money to buy a coffin or burial, he buried her body in the house.

After exhuming the body and examining the drug addict, Colonel Nguyen Van Dung (Chief of Tuy Hoa City Police) confirmed that this was not a murder case. "The woman was not affected by external force or injury but died of illness," said Mr. Dung.

Local authorities and people are raising funds to buy a coffin and bury the woman.
