According to new regulations on driver health, individuals with binocular distant vision below 4/10 or with impaired perception of the three colors red, yellow, and green are not permitted to drive.

The new health standards for drivers have removed regulations regarding weight, physical fitness, height, and chest circumference. The new health standards are divided into nine specialties: psychiatry, neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and drugs and other psychotropic substances. The health standards for drivers are also divided into three groups: A1, B1, and A2-A4, B2, C, D, E, FB3, FC, FD, EF.

Accordingly, individuals with impaired perception of the three primary colors (red, yellow, and green), motor paralysis of one or more limbs, or drug use are not eligible to drive. Binocular distant vision (with or without corrective lenses) below 4/10 is also not eligible to drive a motorcycle. For car drivers, dizziness due to medical conditions and binocular distant vision below 5/10 (with corrective lenses) are also not eligible to drive.

Individuals with excessive scoliosis causing lordosis; spinal stiffness/fusion affecting mobility; bronchial asthma, pseudarthrosis; or a difference of 5 cm or more in absolute length between the upper or lower limbs without assistive devices… are not eligible to drive vehicles of categories A2-A4, B2, C, D…

This standard table does not apply to drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity under 50 cm3. This circular takes effect from October 10th.
