(Baonghean) - With the heartfelt desire to save as many patients as possible and allow them to continue their lives through humanitarian blood donation, Youth Union member Dinh Viet Vuong from Dien Thai commune has participated in voluntary blood donation six times. He has left a positive impression on the youth union members of Dien Chau district and demonstrated a loving and compassionate spirit.

Having made an appointment beforehand, when I arrived at the Dien Thai Commune Youth Union office, I immediately met Dinh Viet Vuong. My first impression was of a healthy young man with a gentle, friendly smile. The conversation became lively when Vuong recounted his time as a student in the Oriental Studies department at Da Lat University. From his first year, Vuong had joined the Student Volunteer Club. When the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross, in collaboration with Da Lat University, organized a blood donation drive for students, Vuong joined right away.

With a spirit of "mutual support and compassion" throughout his four years as a student, Vuong participated in blood donation five times, receiving commendation from the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health and a certificate of merit from the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Da Lat University for his outstanding achievements in social work and student volunteer activities. After graduating in 2010, Vuong returned to his local area. He was elected Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Hamlet 4, Dien Thai Commune. With his quick wit and enthusiasm, he introduced many innovations in Youth Union activities by implementing a "two-way Youth Union activity" model between the local Youth Union and the school's Youth Union, fostering arts and sports activities, and creating a healthy playground for the young people in the hamlet.

Therefore, 100% of the young people in the hamlet participated in the Youth Union activities, and no members violated the law. On the occasion of the Youth Union's founding anniversary on March 26, 2011, when the Dien Chau District Youth Union organized a voluntary blood donation drive, Vuong once again registered to participate and also persuaded three more members of his branch to donate blood.

In total, Vuong has participated in voluntary blood donation six times. With the simple thought that many patients will receive blood transfusions to overcome serious illnesses, each blood donation is a beautiful memory, making him more enthusiastic to study and work better.
