This is good news for the Vietnamese technology community and also a source of pride for Vietnamese people around the world because for the first time a prestigious award has been given by the international community to Vietnamese individuals and businesses in the field of Smart Nation (QGTM) within the framework of a global competition.

In addition to the above prestigious award, the Organizing Committee of the Global Smart City Competition also awarded subsidiary awards such as: Best e-Government Solution to Tomi World Group (Portugal), Smart Energy Award to Estonia's Energy Smart Group and Excellence in Innovation Award to Dell EMC Technology Group.

Also within the framework of the award ceremony, Academician, PhD Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of AIC Group was awarded the title by the Jury and the World TPTM Organization.“International Smart City Ambassador”and“The CEO with the best vision for QGTM”for the female doctor's dedication and enthusiasm in promoting the implementation of the smart city model; especially in building ideas and a comprehensive smart national model for Vietnam in a creative but also very practical and highly feasible way, focusing on the benefits spreading to all beneficiaries in society.

It is known that the World TPTM Organization is a place that gathers leading experts on TPTM and is a place to encourage ideas and models of TPTM and QGTM.

According to the Organizing Committee, this model can be a reference for cities and countries because in the world today there are almost only single solutions, focusing on one or a few areas such as smart transportation, smart energy management, smart healthcare, safe cities, etc.

The "Smart Nation" solution, created and designed by Academician, Doctor Nhan, along with the staff of AIC Group, was highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee of the competition because it demonstrated the scale of synchronous connection from the Central leadership agencies to ministries, branches, provinces and even to grassroots levels such as schools, hospitals, businesses, etc.

All comments highly appreciated the synchronization, intelligence and feasibility of the model from the representative of Vietnam.

With the increasingly clear determination shown by the Party, National Assembly and Government as well as authorities at all levels in Vietnam recently related to the construction of digital government and smart cities; with the ideas and models of Vietnamese enterprises themselves being recognized and promoted by the international community.
