The risk of landslides and floods continues to occur in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa.

According to the forecast of the Central Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the flood level of rivers in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An is currently receding.

At 03:00 on September 2, the water levels on the rivers were as follows: On the Buoi River at Kim Tan 12.31m (0.31m above BĐ3); Ma River at Cam Thuy 18.51m (0.49m below BĐ2); at Ly Nhan 11.01m (at BĐ2); at Giang 5.12m (at 01:00 on September 2, 0.38m below BĐ2); Ca River at Dua 20.82m (0.32m above BĐ1); at Nam Dan 5.74m (0.34m above BĐ1).

Floods on rivers in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are forecast to continue to recede. By noon today (September 2), water levels on rivers are as follows: On Buoi River at Kim Tan down to 11.8m (0.2m below BĐ3); Ma River at Ly Nhan down to 9.9m (0.4m above BĐ1), at Giang down to 4.0m (BĐ1); Ca River at Nam Dan down to 5.5m (0.1m above BĐ1).

Tonight (September 2), the water levels on the rivers are as follows: On the Buoi River at Kim Tan down to 11.4m (0.40m above BĐ2); Ma River at Ly Nhan down to 9.2m (0.3m below BĐ1), at Giang down to 3.4m (0.6m below BĐ1); Ca River at Nam Dan down to 5.3m (0.1m below BĐ1).
