'The most dangerous thing is that people do not trust the government's handling of the situation'

Many hot issues in the locality such as: construction planning, land acquisition, environmental pollution, communication behavior of local police, flooding... have been petitioned by voters to National Assembly deputies for supervision and direction in solving.

Some voters in An Hoa commune said that the Land Law is not yet strict enough, so there are still interest groups taking advantage of it, reclaiming and compensating people's land at low prices, then making projects to sell land at high prices. Mr. Thuong said that there are many old issues that voters have raised over 3-4 National Assembly terms but have not yet resolved."The government thinks that having a written response is enough, but the biggest problem is that the people's pressing issues are not resolved. If we have a signed and sealed document but the problem remains the same, that's not acceptable, comrades," he said.
