Former Director of Nghe An Post Office appointed General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation

Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Anh Tuan presented the Decision to appoint General Director to Mr. Chu Quang Hao.

Speaking at the Ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the General Director of the Corporation on January 2, 2018, Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Anh Tuan congratulated the new General Director Chu Quang Hao for receiving the trust of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; the support and companionship of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Board of Members, the Board of Directors, and units and employees throughout the network.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Anh Tuan believes that with the rich tradition of the Postal industry over the past 70 years, the strong and remarkable development of the Corporation after 10 years of independent operation, along with the youth, dynamism and 20 years of experience in operation and management in the Postal industry, Mr. Chu Quang Hao will join the leadership of the Corporation, provincial and municipal Post Offices, subsidiaries and affiliated companies to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, bringing Vietnam Post to new heights.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that on the first day of the new year 2018, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed and issued Resolution 01 on the main tasks and solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan and the State Budget Estimate for 2018, including many tasks that Vietnam Post needs to proactively and resolutely implement. Especially, the strong promotion of administrative reform, building an e-Government to serve the people, associated with the arrangement of a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus.

Accordingly, in 2018, Vietnam Post needs to resolutely and effectively implement Decision No. 45 of the Government on receiving dossiers and returning results of administrative procedure settlement via public postal services.
Chairman of the Board of Directors Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that with the operation of the new Board of Directors and the determination and consensus of more than 42,000 employees across the network, Vietnam Post will exceed the Corporation's revenue target of VND 22,023 billion; Profit will reach over VND 400 billion in 2018.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation Chu Quang Hao shared that he was very proud to work in the Post Office. With the new responsibility, General Director Chu Quang Hao pledged to devote all his enthusiasm and capacity to carry out the assigned tasks. The General Director will always be exemplary, working closely with the leadership team of the Corporation and more than 42,000 employees across the network, determined to make Vietnam Post the leading prestigious national postal enterprise in the region and the world.
In the coming period, Vietnam Post will participate more deeply in the implementation of 3 core business areas. In addition, the Corporation will continue to focus on improving and enhancing the quality of service provision throughout the network; affirming its position as the leading postal enterprise in providing postal services in Vietnam.

At the same time, organize production and business reasonably, develop new products and services, improve processes to enhance business capacity and increase network efficiency. In particular, the Corporation will focus on promoting the implementation of public administrative services so that Vietnam Post will always be an extension, a face, and a part of the state management agency.

Also at the Ceremony, General Director Chu Quang Hao called on all leaders and employees across the network to unite, be of one mind, and properly and fully implement the direction of the Board of Members and the Board of Directors, moving towards successfully achieving the goals of the Corporation for the period 2018 - 2020 and the vision to 2030.

Mr. Chu Quang Hao has 20 years of continuous dedication to the development of Vietnam Post with different positions at the base and the Corporation such as: Deputy Director, Director of Nghe An Provincial Post Office, Deputy General Director in charge of the business sector of the Corporation; Member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation.
