Causes of mouth ulcers
Mouth ulcers, or canker sores, are painful sores that develop inside the mouth, usually on the tongue, gums, and between the lower tongue and teeth. They often appear singly but sometimes protrude in clusters on the surface.

Mouth ulcers can be caused by viruses or bacteria that can cause sores on the surface of the tongue and gums when the immune system is weak; mental stress; or an improper diet leading to iron or vitamin B12 deficiency...
In most cases, the sores will heal on their own without any treatment, only causing discomfort for a few days. You can try the following methods to help the sores heal faster: apply pain relievers containing acids and glycerin twice daily after brushing your teeth; rinse your mouth at least four times a day with diluted salt water, holding it in your mouth for about a minute and remembering not to swallow.
Additionally, you should pay attention to your diet while suffering from mouth ulcers, such as avoiding acidic foods, astringent foods, or heavily spiced foods like lemon, chili, pepper, and grapefruit, as these can worsen the pain. Drink plenty of water and be careful when brushing your teeth. If the condition does not improve after 7-10 days, you should see a specialist to determine the underlying cause.
