Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 24, Mr. Bui Xuan Thuong (53 years old, Head of the Chau Duc District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee) returned to his bedroom on the first floor of his house and saw his wife, Pham Thuy Nga (49 years old), lying motionless. He shouted for help from the locals to take his wife to the hospital for emergency treatment, but the woman died.

At the house, people also discovered Bui Pham Duc Toan (17 years old, Ms. Nga's son) dead in the warehouse on the ground floor.

Through an autopsy, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police determined that Ms. Nga died of suffocation. The 17-year-old victim died lying on her side, with her hands and feet tied and her head showing multiple injuries.

The Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Investigation Agency is coordinating with relevant parties to clarify the incident.

The villa where the crime took place has an area of ​​nearly 1,000 square meters and is strictly guarded by the authorities. According to local residents, Mr. Thuong's house is surrounded by a garden.

Locals said Mr. Thuong’s family runs a rental business, a mini soccer field, and grows 6 hectares of industrial crops. The family employs several workers, so there are often people coming and going in and out of the house.

A Vice Chairman of Chau Duc district said that Mr. Thuong's health has stabilized and is cooperating with the police to investigate. According to this person, Mr. Thuong's house does not have a security camera.
