As many predicted, with 49.47% of the audience vote, Nguyen Thien Nhan, a young girl from a farming family in Binh Dinh, brilliantly surpassed the curly-haired boy Hoang Anh and the folk singer Thien Nham to become the champion of The Voice Kids Vietnam Season 2 in the final night held on October 4th in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the final night held at Giai Phong Film Studio (Ho Chi Minh City), the three most outstanding young singers from each team, including Thien Nhan (Cam Ly's team), Hoang Anh (Ho Hoai Anh - Luu Huong Giang's team), and Thien Nham (Lam Truong's team), competed in three rounds: solo, duet with their coach, and duet with a guest performer.

As a young singer with a huge fan base in Cam Ly's team, Nguyen Thien Nhan captivated audiences through each round of the competition with her clear, sweet, and emotional voice. In the final night, the little girl from a farming family surprised everyone by performing the song "Co Doi Thuong Ngan," a traditional Vietnamese folk song.

This was no small challenge that coach Cam Ly set for her young protégé. However, with the support of senior artists and her naturally clear, high-pitched voice, Thien Nhan performed quite well, with some improvisational passages that felt like she was possessed. From the moment she sang the first line until the end of her performance, the young girl from the countryside received enthusiastic applause from the audience at Giai Phong Film Studio (Ho Chi Minh City).

In the second performance, Thien Nhan also had an emotional collaboration with coach Cam Ly in a medley of "The Image of My Homeland" and "Sorrow of My Grandmother's Homeland." In this performance, "Sister Tu" Cam Ly unexpectedly transformed into a 60-year-old grandmother, while the girl from Binh Dinh played the granddaughter. This was Thien Nhan's first opportunity to showcase her acting talent on stage. Her innocence, cuteness, and adorable dialogue made the audience in the studio burst into laughter.

Sharing her thoughts on the song, coach Cam Ly said: "I chose this song for Nhan because after spending time together and experiencing the emotions, I think Nhan has been nurtured enough to fully express the emotions in this song."

Indeed, with her sweet and emotional voice, Thien Nhan perfectly complemented her coach, Cam Ly. The two delivered a performance that was both adorable and touching for the audience.

In addition, Thien Nhan also had a very special duet with singer Quang Linh in the song "Den Khuya" by composer Lam Phuong. Choosing a guest to sing a duet with Thien Nhan was quite a headache for coach Cam Ly. However, after much deliberation, she decided to invite singer Quang Linh, her colleague and close friend.

With years of singing experience, Quang Linh wholeheartedly supported Thien Nhan in this performance, giving her the opportunity to showcase her clear and pure voice. As a result, the song "Den Khuya" (Late Night Lamp), performed by Quang Linh and Thien Nhan, became even more gentle and emotional.

Meanwhile, the curly-haired boy Hoang Anh brought different emotions to the audience with his English medley, Perhaps - La Bamba. In the later part, Hoang Anh had the opportunity to showcase both his strong voice and his dancing skills.

In the duet with his coach, Hoang Anh harmonized with Ho Hoai Anh and Luu Huong Giang in the song "Con Co Me Roi" (I Have a Mother Now), a new composition by musician Ho Hoai Anh. This song requires a lot of emotion and subtle handling, unlike the usual energetic style of the curly-haired boy. However, with the support of the duo Ho Hoai Anh and Luu Huong Giang, along with three former contestants from the team, Hoang Anh still performed quite well. However, he still lacked skill in handling the lower notes.

Teaming up with singer Ngoc Anh on the song Habanera, Hoang Anh once again affirmed his strong and powerful voice. Standing before the experienced Ngoc Anh, the curly-haired boy showed no signs of shyness. On the contrary, Hoang Anh commanded the stage quite well and confidently showcased his singing.

As the opening act, Thiên Nhâm, a young girl from Lam Trường's team, appeared gracefully in a traditional Vietnamese four-panel dress, performing the song "Homeland of Three Regions" by composer Thanh Sơn. Possessing a sweet and expressive voice, Thiên Nhâm easily won applause from the audience with her vocal embellishments and intonations that rivaled those of professional singers.

However, from the beginning, Thien Nham was guided by coach Lam Truong towards a versatile image. She not only sings sentimental folk songs but also tries her hand at other genres. Therefore, after the song "Homeland of Three Regions," Thien Nham had an impressive collaboration with coach Lam Truong in the song "The Gaze of a Father."

In this performance, Lam Truong transformed into a poor father who daily pushes a bread cart to sell bread to raise his children. The teacher and student duo delivered a touching performance, portraying the deep bond between father and daughter. In particular, the young girl Thien Nham performed the high notes quite well and received a "shower" of applause from the audience.

In the segment featuring guest singers, Thien Nham also received much praise for her duet with singer Doan Trang in the English song "Power of the Dream." Her vocals were translated into Vietnamese to create a more intimate connection with the audience. The "warrior" from Lam Truong's team continued to excel in hitting high notes and proved to be in no way inferior to singer Doan Trang.
