The head of the DPRK chaired a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
At the meeting, Mr. Kim Jong-un called for strengthening "epidemic prevention work.""and noted the need to maintain the country's ever-increasing combat readiness. It is known that this is the first time the North Korean leader has attended a public event in the past 25 days.
Earlier, it was reported that North Korea had taken quite extreme measures to combat the coronavirus. South Korea's intelligence agency said that the country had planted mines along the border with neighboring China.
At the same time, they stressed that Pyongyang does not have enough human resources and technical means to combat the spread of Covid-19, which could lead to catastrophic consequences.
