Song Lam Cement Factory proposes to expand limestone material area in Tan Ky
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting between the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and key investors on the afternoon of September 14, a representative of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company said he hoped to supplement the source of limestone materials in Tan Ky district.
Song Lam Cement Factory (Bai Son Commune, Do Luong District) has officially put into operation 2 production lines, with a capacity of over 12,000 tons of clinker/day.

Because the K41 warehouse in Do Luong has not been cleared yet, the company is having difficulty in exploiting raw materials for the factory to operate, thereby affecting the revenue and output of the factory. Therefore, at the meeting, the investor hoped that Nghe An would soon clear the K41 warehouse.
At the same time, to ensure that the investor can carry out the investment in phase 2 by the end of 2018, Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company proposed that Nghe An soon agree on the compensation plan for phase 2 and direct the People's Committees of Do Luong and Yen Thanh districts to carry out site clearance and handover to the investor.
The investor also proposed to supplement limestone materials in Tan Ky for the factory to operate stably and long-term, because according to current assessment, limestone resources in Do Luong are not enough. Regarding this issue, Nghe An province leaders will hold a meeting with the sectors, ask for opinions from superiors to make a decision.
