Czech diplomat: West will soon publicly declare division of Ukraine

According to Ria Novosti, in an interview with the Parlamentni listy newspaper on January 23, former senior Czech diplomat and international relations expert Petr Drulak said that the main scenario of negotiating the division of Ukraine is based on the real situation, admitting that Kiev will not be able to control all the territories located within Ukraine's borders.

"Those who insist on this view and consider it the main condition for peace negotiations are delusional. They need to understand and soberly recognize that Ukraine will be divided and narrowed," former senior Czech diplomat Petr Drulak emphasized.

Ukraine, which has lost the West's enthusiastic support, will continue to "collapse" in its conflict with Russia if its allies do not force it to make concessions, according to Petr Drulak. A model for a solution could be the division of the country into West and East, as Germany once was, the expert said.

"The moment of truth is coming. I don't know exactly when: in a few months, this year or a year from now, but it is clear that this will happen, and Ukraine will not be able to survive. The same thing will happen to Ukraine, as the West left Afghanistan and Iraq," said Petr Drulak.

According to expert Drulak, the only thing the US government can do now is to delay the collapse of Ukraine for a few months. And the situation will change significantly by the time Donald Trump enters the White House.
