Returning from the Kingdom of Thailand, writer Nguyen The Quang shared about this meaningful trip.

Writer Nguyen The Quang:There are many memories of this trip. We were warmly welcomed by the Thai Royal Family. The purpose of the award is clearly stated: “The SEA (Southeast Asian) Literature Award was established to honor writers from ASEAN countries in the past, present and future”. This time, the King invited Keete Fox - an Italian-American-French writer and historian currently living in Paris to be the speaker of the award ceremony. The King also respectfully gave the right to Princess Sirivannavari Nariatana Rajakanya to present the award to the writers. The theme of the award is “Create your own story, help you travel through space and time to meet the people whose passion has shaped the world today”. During the award ceremony, the Princess wished that the writers would have great works that “light up the face of regional literature” and integrate with the international community.
