Musician Ngoc Dai fined 30 million VND for vulgar CD.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chiem, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that after the Department's Inspectorate worked with musician Ngoc Dai on May 25th regarding the CD "Thang Mo 1" which contained many vulgar words and drew public criticism, musician Ngoc Dai cooperated with the cultural management agency and admitted his wrongdoing in producing and distributing this product without permission. According to Clause 4, Article 13 of Decree 75, musician Ngoc Dai will face an administrative fine of 30 million to 40 million VND.

The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also sent a report on the results of its work with musician Ngoc Dai, as well as the decision to penalize him, to the Department of Performing Arts.
