Musician Siro burst into tears when listening to the Kids version of 'Em gai mua'
"I have to put myself in the shoes of Nhu Ngoc's mother to better understand her feelings," Mr. Siro shared about the song composition process.
After the successful performance of Nhu Ngoc - Huong Tram's student with the song "Mother, believe me", the Kids version of the hit "Em gai mua" at the recent Minishow - The Voice Kids 2017, the song received many compliments from the loving audience. Accordingly, when contacting musician Mr. Siro (the composer), he expressed his sympathy and love for this composition. In particular, when hearing Nhu Ngoc sing the high notes, the male musician said he was moved to tears and could not control his emotions.
“Ngoc and I have a connection. If I write a completely new song, Ngoc will probably encounter many obstacles. The singer who sings my music will have to overcome the pressure,” Mr. Siro shared when he was somewhat hesitant when Huong Tram suggested writing a song specifically for Nhu Ngoc.
The male musician added that after spending less than 20 minutes with Nhu Ngoc, he felt that she was still a child. He himself realized that there was no harmony, because when writing music for someone, he always took the time to learn about that character thoroughly. But after spending more time with her, he felt that she was lonely, the understanding loneliness of a completely grown-up, mature person. "I have to put myself in the shoes of Nhu Ngoc's mother to better understand her feelings."

Mr. Siro put himself in the role of Nhu Ngoc's mother to understand her better, and cried when he heard Nhu Ngoc sing. |
When he understood Như Ngọc, he also discovered her “strange” personality. Mr. Siro shared that he was impressed by her musical ability, especially her ability to skillfully play her father’s traditional musical instrument, which she had never learned or come into contact with before. But he also quickly realized that the difference between Như Ngọc and other normal children was her mentality, because her expressions were sometimes beyond the ability of adults to express.
He also commented on the girl’s performance of the song “Mother, please believe me”: “Her first notes were still filled with excitement. But when she increased the pitch, I started to cry. That intensity, that vibration… She synchronized her voice and soul, it sounded very passionate.”

It can be seen that each musician, specifically Mr. Siro, has invested in leaving a special mark with each song released to the public. It shows the love and heart that each artist has put into their product. With Mr. Siro, he is certainly not only a “sad saint” but also promises to become a “Kids saint” in the near future, who knows?
