Previously, on July 14, while on duty at the intersection of Quang Trung Street and Tran Phu Street, the Traffic Police working group of Vinh City Police discovered a young man driving a motorbike turning onto the street without signaling, so they asked him to stop the vehicle for inspection.

Here, a young man named Tuan (born in 1985) said he borrowed a friend's motorbike so he did not bring any papers. Tuan asked the working group to wait for him to go home nearby to get his papers and present them. However, the young man then left and did not return.

Suspecting that the car had a problem, the traffic police officers carefully inspected the car and discovered that the license plate on the car was a fake one. After checking the chassis number and engine number of the car, the authorities found out that the real license plate of the car was: 37G1-567.40, owned by Ms. Ho Thi Huong, so they contacted her to clarify.

At this time, Ms. Huong reported that her motorbike had been stolen 2 years ago. After completing all the procedures, on August 30, Ms. Huong was handed back the stolen motorbike by the Vinh City Traffic Police.

According to Ms. Huong, at the end of July 2014, she rode her motorbike to a corn field about 800m from her house to weed. Because she was so busy working, she forgot to pay attention to her motorbike parked on the edge of the field, so Ms. Huong had her motorbike stolen.

After the incident, Ms. Huong reported it to Nghia Dan district police for investigation.
