Replicating models and advanced examples in the movement to protect national security

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 23, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of building and replicating models and advanced examples of the movement for the whole people to protect national security and implement Decision No. 57/2006/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating regulations on organization and self-management of security and order.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Police, departments, branches, sectors, provincial unions, districts, cities and towns.

Overview of the Conference.

Over the past 10 years, the work of building and replicating advanced models and typical examples in the mass movement to protect national security and order and self-management of national security and order has received attention and care from Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, resulting in strong changes in both quantity and quality.

Up to now, the whole province has 34 types of advanced models and typical examples that have been consolidated, built and replicated in 928 focal points of residential areas, communes, wards, towns, agencies, units, enterprises, and schools with many rich and diverse contents and forms, notably: the model "Catholic parishes without crime and social evils", the model "Self-management, self-protection, self-reconciliation, self-detection, and denunciation of crimes at the grassroots level", "Crime denunciation mailbox", "Friends helping friends" club...

In addition, the province has established 7,588 self-management committees for security and order in villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods; 38,578 self-management groups for security and order with 96.5% of households in the province participating. By the end of 2015, in the whole province, there were 4,950/5,837 residential areas (accounting for 84.8%), 425/480 communes, wards, and towns (88.5%), 795/880 agencies (accounting for 90.3%), 890/1,102 enterprises (80.76%), 1,596/1,614 schools (99%) meeting security and order standards.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai praised the results achieved over 10 years of building and replicating models and advanced examples of the mass movement to protect national security and order and self-management of security and order.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai presented flowers to Ms. Le Thi Yen (Tay Ho Block, Quang Tien Ward, Thai Hoa Town) - a typical example of a person who made mistakes and overcame difficulties to reintegrate into the community.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, the police forces at all levels must do a good job of advising and guiding the building of advanced models and examples and self-management of security and order. At the same time, step up propaganda and mobilization of the masses, change the sense of responsibility, arouse and promote the self-awareness of the masses in the work of maintaining security and order.

On that basis, making the work of building and replicating advanced typical models and self-management of security and order one of the regular tasks of all levels, sectors, organizations, agencies, units and localities.

On this occasion, 3 groups and 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Public Security; 7 groups and 10 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Nghe An province; 32 groups and 32 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Nghe An Police.
