Replicating the model, typical in the mass movement to protect national security
(Baonghean.vn) - That was the opinion of Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department at the working session of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Delegation with the Quy Hop District Party Committee on the results of implementing Directive No. 09-CT/TW dated December 1, 2011 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat (11th tenure) on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over the mass movement to protect national security" which took place on the morning of December 4.
Over the past 6 years, Quy Hop district has built a movement for the entire population to protect national security to meet the requirements of ensuring political security and social order and safety in the new situation. The Quy Hop district steering committee has promoted propaganda, dissemination and legal education in many diverse and rich forms.
The contents of the Directive have been scientifically and effectively integrated by all levels and sectors with emulation movements, notably the movements "Hunger eradication and poverty reduction", "All people join hands to build new rural areas", "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas"... contributing to raising people's awareness and consciousness in the fight against crime and law enforcement.

In 6 years, Quy Hop district organized 89 legal dissemination training sessions for 15,850 people. The work of coordinating the masses to participate in preventing, detecting and denouncing crimes has always been carried out regularly and effectively by all levels, sectors and the district police force. As a result, there were 1,822 criminal denunciation forms, 867 sources of information, 974 valuable denunciation letters helping to clarify 213 cases, investigate and discover 518 criminal cases; arrest and handle 943 subjects. Detected and arrested 108 cases, 136 subjects for crimes of illegal drug trafficking and possession.TThe district union has maintained the operation of 30 typical models such as "Peaceful gong", "Self-managed clan", "People's patrol team", "Peaceful enterprise"...
At the meeting,Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of implementing Directive 09 of the Quy Hop District Party Committee through practical actions. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, comrade Nguyen Huu Cau requested Quy Hop District to continue focusing on building a strong political system. Concentrate resources on building new rural areas, pay attention to the issue of sending regular police to communes and towns to take up positions according to the set roadmap. In addition, it is necessary to replicate typical models of good people and good deeds in the fight against and prevention of all types of crimes in the area.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau also emphasized: Quy Hop is a mining district with many businesses operating in the area, attracting many domestic and foreign workers, so it is necessary to strictly manage foreigners working in the area. At the same time, continue to pay attention to regular dialogue with the people to promptly resolve difficulties in site clearance, land disputes, and mining safety to both ensure security and order and promote socio-economic development.
