Airport employee was thrown onto the hood of a 123 taxi driver
An airport security officer on duty tried to stop a 123 taxi driver from illegally picking up passengers, but the driver crashed head-on and threw the airport employee onto the hood.
The incident happened around 6pm last night at passenger terminal T2, Noi Bai International Airport.
Specifically, Mr. Doan Minh Nam, an employee of the Car Parking Control Team, while on duty in the 3rd floor area, discovered taxi driver 123, license plate 30E-759.02, picking up passengers in traffic lane 2 in violation of regulations (this area has a sign prohibiting taxis from picking up passengers).
Mr. Nam reminded the driver not to pick up passengers here. However, the driver not only did not comply but also used uncivilized words to insult the airline staff.

Then, this driver suddenly drove the car straight into Mr. Nam, causing him to fall forward. When Mr. Nam used the walkie-talkie to notify the Security Team to come and assist, this driver once again reversed the car and continued to hit Mr. Nam, lifted the hood of the car and ran away towards the Bac Thang Long ticket checkpoint.
According to initial information, this reckless male driver was later identified as Dinh Van Chung (born in 1992, from Soc Son, Hanoi). The case has been handed over to Noi Bai Airport Police Station for clarification.
Airport security officer Doan Minh Nam was very lucky to only have swelling and scratches on his elbow and knee. However, because his hand cannot move normally, Mr. Nam is still being examined and monitored.
